The Lagoon 35 CCC is a catamaran designed for coastal sailing. It is among the first of its kind to be made by a lamination method that allows it to carry up to 3,000 extra pounds. It features a roomy, comfortable interior with saloon and galley. It has not yet been tested for sailing.

Blowing my horn

Article Abstract:

A man remembers the manual horn he bought for his boat when he was a teen. The horn alerted bridgekeepers to open bridges for his boat's passage. Later he replaced it with a regulation air horn. He relates several humorous anecdotes when the bridgekeepers seemed not to hear his horn.

The two-day pockage

Article Abstract:

The Caribbean and the Bahamas may be interesting places to visit for cruising enthusiasts but package deliveries may be problematic. Package deliveries which are supposed to take only two days may require more than a week because of unreliable courier service personnel.
