Article Abstract:

Perhaps the primary reason for failing to catch bass, especially in heavily-fished areas, is a lifeless retrieval. Soft-plastic blobs, jerkbaits, and stickbaits in particular need to be retrieved with a jerking motion that will attract attention. Techniques are discussed.
