Simple steps on how to get a young horse to stop backing and move forward when he is worried about new sights are illustrated. Horses when in doubt about something new should learn instinctively to listen to their riders for directions and reassurance but first they should learn to trust their riders instincts and in order to do so it is very important to establish a basic foundation with the horse where the rider can communicate with the horse through body language.
