Good wind to the Galapagos

Article Abstract:

Sailing to the Galapagos Islands can be difficult because of the lack of wind that passes between the coast of Ecuador and the islands. A sailing trip from Panama to the islands that uses the currents and favorable winds is described. The trip is longer than a more direct route, but worth it.
