The elegant and graceful 'Coronet', the massive schooner that rose to legendary fame during a transatlantic duel in the gilded age, is grounded for splendid restoration, at the International Yatch Restoration School (IYRS) campus. It was all leisure for the passengers with elegant chandeliers, and would be restored after full restoration of the hull and decks.

Type A, the squared taper, is the expensive but most reliable of the three tiller-to-inboard-rudderhead attachments. Type A, is prone to loosing while type C is susceptible to wear. The reappearance of the humble tiller on cutting edge race boats and some of the advantages of tiller are discussed.
