Fleeting glory

Article Abstract:

A man who finished a 10-K race was surprised to be awarded the third place prize for men between the ages of 30 and 34. While deciding where to place his trophy, the judges informed him that they had made a mistake and that he had actually finished about 25 runners behind the winning runner for that age group.

Article Abstract:

Bicyclists can make the most out of their cycling time if they emphasize the quality of their ride and not how far they go. By using your bike to go to work and keeping your rides fun as opposed to doing it at any cost one can get the most out of the activity.
