Article Abstract:

Cross-training that is simply adding another event or two into the horse's repertoire will keep the horse fresh and happy with his job. Diversity keeps one thinking and helps ones horse but this should be done by a good and qualified person who would help.

From reiner to reined cow horse?

Article Abstract:

A demonstration of how to try reined cow horse events is presented. The biggest challenge may lie in the reiner's training foundation as in cow horse, one has to be able to take hold of the horse's face to teach him to stop and turn with a cow.
