Canada is seeing a golf boom, with 2000 courses open for play, and new courses being built all over the country. The more than 5 million Canadian golfers can choose from golf resorts such as the Jasper Park Lodge and the Banff Springs Hotel in the Canadian Rockies, with both courses having been designed by Scottish designer Stanley Thompson in the 1920s.
