The 1998 Suzuki RM250 features a heavier crank and revised cylinder porting. It comes with a rigid frame supported by an enlarged shock shaft. The motorcycle also features linear shock linkage, suspension valves and a Keihin PowerJet carburetor.

Cycle World staff were challenged to spend $500 or less on motorcycles that could run at least 500 miles. The staff showed that motorcycling enthusiasts can have the bikes they dream of without spending too much.
