Every 30 minutes: frequent assessments can lead to more vigilant lifeguards

Article Abstract:

Monitoring lifeguard behavior every 30 minutes, every hour or six times a day will increase safety significantly, improve morale and improve public relations. A checklist is provided for considering on task and off task behavior.
