Bermuda's shipwreck certificate program

Article Abstract:

Five Bermuda dive operators and the Bermuda Dept. of Tourism have launched a shipwreck certificate program. Participants will receive a Bermuda Shipwreck Certificate upon diving any of these six Bermuda shipwrecks: Constellation, Cristobal Colon, Hermes, Mary Celestia, Minnie Breslauer and Pelinaion.

The Cristobal Colon: Bermuda's megawreck luxury liner

Article Abstract:

The Cristobal Colon shipwreck covers two and a half acres of Bermuda's seafloor, with diving depths ranging from 25 ft. to 55 ft. The 500-ft.-long luxury liner is divided into three sections: the bow, the midsection, and the stern. It would take more than one dive to explore the entire wreck.

The Grotto Bay Beach Hotel in Bermuda offers amenities for divers who would like to explore the area's shipwrecks and reefs. These include a watersport center, sport shops and freshwater swimming pools.
