AKR Roatan museum and dolphin experience: make the Bay Islands more than just a diving vacation

Article Abstract:

Anthony's Key Resort (AKR) in Roatan, Honduras offer more than just the normal dive operation facilities. Aside from a dive resort, AKR created the Institute of Marine Sciences that would help promote tourism and at the same time preserve the culture of the Bay Islands. The institute contains a dolphin training area, education center and museum.

Changing diving times

Article Abstract:

The diving industry has not suffered much from the 1990s recession because divers diligently pursued the sport. The industry, though, has learned lessons from the crisis. It must change its marketing approach, improve and diversify its products and services to induce industrial growth.

Article Abstract:

SSI comes up with a unique way of recognizing the high experience level of avid divers. The Platinum Pro card is for those who have accomplished 5,000 logged dives. The Platinum, Gold, and Century card are for those who have logged 1,000; 500 and 100 dives respectively.
