Motivational factors related to quitting smoking among prisoners during a smoking ban

Article Abstract:

This article discusses prisoners reaction to a state wide smoking ban and how it influence their behavior toward smoking. The authors maintain many prisoners who smoked increased their level of smoking due to the anticipation of the ban, however, the prisoners who had already considered quitting had more success.
