The article provides an analysis of psychometric tests given to young offenders, adult offenders, and non-offenders. The authors conclude dramatic differences were found among offenders and non-offenders, with offenders demonstrating lower executive capacity and maladaptive personality features, as well as a lack of social competency, judgement, and foresight.
