Article Abstract:

Research was conducted to study parameter invariance and the adequacy of the Alsop-Davison model to examine a two-stimulus two-response symbolic matching-to-sample task characterized by the discrimination of sample and choice stimuli that were signaled by various probabilities involving pigeons. The animals were trained in a three-key experimental chamber. The study also incorporated a sample stimulus that was repeated until a correct response had been emitted by the pigeons.
