Civic and social integration: A new field of social work practice with immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers

Article Abstract:

Social work with immigrants, refugees and asylum seeker is operating in an increasing global environment and it is argued that civil social work is defined by a concern for the rights and needs of citizens. By means of two social work surveys, it is suggested that social work practice with immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers is developing into a new field of practice.

Ethical decision-making of social workers' associations: a case study of the Israeli association of social workers' responses to whistle-blowing

Article Abstract:

A study revealed that social workers' associations cannot make ethical decisions in a vacuum. According to the study, the response of the organization on whom the whistle is blown is self-protective.
