Article Abstract:
The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test was found to be an inadequate measure of binge drinking in an employee population with high education levels. The necessary level of sensitivity was achieved by directly asking subjects to state the largest number of alcoholic drinks consumed in one drinking session.

Article Abstract:
The relationship in a nonclinical sample is investigated between fear of cognitive dyscontrol and self-reports of problematic drinking. The results suggest that fear of cognitive dyscontrol is uniquely associated with self-reports of problematic drinking behaviors and attitudes.
