An approach to representing the spatial structure of the information society
Article Abstract:
An analysis is presented on the relevance of geographic location to the accessibility of information and technology, focusing on time savings and the availability of economic and social opportunities. The migration of these opportunities from the physical to the virtual realm and to hybrid spaces is also discussed.

Results of a study of spacial patterns in the Boston, MA, metropolitan area reveal that telecommunications have shifted the geography of employment opportunity from urban centers to the suburbs. Findings are based on a spatial relationships mathematical model used to measures changes in accessibility.

Spatial analysis of transactions using e-catalogs in public business-to-business electronic marketplaces by business model in Korea
Article Abstract:
A business model was used to study the spatial flows of products traded over public business-to-business electronic market places (B2B e-MPs) in Korea. The findings imply that introduction of public B2B e-MPs do not automatically guarantee expansion of spatial coverage.
