Adolescent alcohol use and suicidal ideation: a nonrecursive model
Article Abstract:
A 24 month survey of junior and senior high school students was conducted to study the interrelation of alcohol use and suicidal behavior. The study showed that suicidal thoughts led to alcohol problems in girls and that increased alcohol problems often lead to suicidal thoughts and behavior in boys.
