War and the socialization of children: Comparing two evolutionary models

Article Abstract:

Two evolutionary models are described for assessing the relationships between war and peace, the causes and consequences of father absence and hyperaggressivity. The results have suggested that hyperaggressivity, produced in part by low father salience, has decreased the reproductive success, whereas the environmentally contingent reproductive strategy model has assumed that hyperaggressivity is adaptive for warring societies.
