Article Abstract:

Networks are devices for organizing and conceptualizing non-linear complexity, defying narrative, chronology and thus also genealogy as they entail a multiplicity of traces. The concept of network is highly conducive to theorizing phenomena and processes such as globalization, digital media, speed, symbiosis and complexity, which in turn enables one to rethink what constitutes the foundations of intelligence, knowledge and even life itself.
