Article Abstract:
Evolutionary theories can be adopted in the contexts of policies, organizations and markets for providing an insight into the behavior of organizations and developments at a system level. The use of evolutionary theories in decision-making provides unexpected and counterintuitive results but these theories also have certain drawbacks as they focus mainly on survival and may neglect to consider the changes in the selection environment.
