Acquisition versus greenfield investment: the location of foreign manufacturers in Italy
Article Abstract:
A study of Foreign Direct investment (FDI) in Italy between 1998 and 1999, to identify which location determinants influence foreign entry into the country is done. High unemployment provinces in the south of Italy attract more greenfield FDIs than Northern-central ones.
