Crises-prone technical business enterprises should take the necessary steps in crisis preparation. The systematic Multidimensional Approach may prove effective, since it considers how crises features relate to the organizational environment. Adopting several perspectives enables business enterprises to handle the complex aspects of crisis preparation. The Multidimensional Approach is better than others in that literature and studies support it.

Organizations' crisis preparation efforts are based on industry association forecasts, potential threat of media investigations and crisis experiences. Other factors that promote preparedness also include regulation and new top management. The factors, which are not exhaustive, feature varying differential effects but should all be considered to address future environmental, financial and other crises.
