Article Abstract:
Property managers who are family oriented are not going against the principles of good business. On the contrary, being sensitive to the needs of families is sound business practice considering that families represent a large segment of multifamily housing residents. Concerned managers are supportive of financially troubled families, without being less effective in discouraging negligence and abuse and without losing sight of the prompt collection of rent as their top priority. These managers encourage open communication and provide information and direction that may result in the resolution of people's problems. Managers must remember that people form the backbone of the property management business.

Article Abstract:
The premise that the family should be understood based on functional terms, that whatever functions as a family should have the legal status of such was examined. Two extreme perspectives were examined. The first focused on the position of the hard-line platonic essentials supporting the argument that a family unit must comprise heterosexual partners. The second emphasized the position of radical relativists promoting the argument that there are no essences that are purely arbitrary.

Article Abstract:
New philosophical approaches to live, especially those stressing that everything is merely a social construct, have broken down the institution of the family and are leading to moral malaise, with dangerous repercussions. Individual spiritual growth needs to be stressed as a major part of family life, Once this is accomplished and people show religious faith, the family can reemerge as the important social entity it truly is.
