Article Abstract:
Research on 206 individuals 40 years of age and older who have experienced urinary incontinence indicates that incontinence causes emotional and social burdens for sufferers. Although most respondents indicated that urine loss did not diminish self-esteem or restrict activities, more were likely to indicate they felt lonely, sad, or depressed compared to those who did not experience incontinence.

The memory of aged adults who are regular practitioners of mind-body or cardiovascular exercises is compared with that of those who did not indulge in any exercise. The practice of both sorts of exercises has a combined positive effect on the preservation of memory.
