A synopsis is presented on a research article from the medical periodical Lancet on colorectal cancer surgery in patients of three age groups, 65 to 74 years, 75 to 84 years, and 85 years and older. A commentary on the article is also included, addressing topics such as post-surgery functional status, stoma size and fecal occult blood testing.

Treatment for breast cancer in patients with Alzheimer's disease
Article Abstract:
Breast cancer treatment pattern of patients with Alzheimer's disease is analyzed. Analysis shows that Alzheimer's patients are less subjected to breast cancer treatment than to other patients.
