Article Abstract:

Recent surveys of urinary urge incontinence and quality of life effects among older adults are discussed. Issues discussed include the strengths and weaknesses of the incontinence surveys, differences in target populations, and the need for new studies focusing on the impact of incontinence in older men.

Research indicates that compliance in male patients with sleep apnea is linked to attendance at patient education and support groups. Studies were conducted on subjects 65 years of age and older undergoing continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy.
