How females choose their mates

Article Abstract:

Animal and human female species tend to become more selective in choosing their sexual partners than their male counterparts. The behavior may be explained by the fact that males are capable of producing millions of sperm while females create only limited number of eggs.

People do more than imitate

Imitation is too narrow a basis for explaining social change. For example, the shared knowledge of restaurant behavior, and many other complex social settings, cannot be merely imitated.
