Article Abstract:

Victor Dmitriev built and flew small, portable airplanes while a citizen of the former Soviet Union. This was in defiance of Soviet law, and the flights had to be conducted in deserted fields at night. Now Dmitriev hopes to move to the US and continue work on his latest ultralight aircraft.

The Lockheed F-117A attack plane made an unimpressive debut in the invasion of Panama, but more than redeemed itself in the Persian Gulf War with its unseen bombing strikes and its accuracy. A report on the plane's capabilities and the use of an F-117A simulator is presented.
