Ethics and performance management

Article Abstract:

Corporate ethics has become an important strategic management issue. Its adoption creates a socially responsible organization with improved corporate image and better physical and moral environment. On the other hand, companies that fail to have business ethics may lose their customers, discourage potential employees and restrain their relationship with the government. Corporate ethics can be promoted within organizations if all stakeholders are treated fairly and morality and responsibility are integrated in the decision-making process.
