Physicists refer to philosopher Paul Karl Feyerabend as 'the worst enemy of science' because he believes that science involves no logic. Feyerabend believes that scientists must be skeptical about science to avoid taking a subjective approach to scientific theory.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has provided valuable insights on the optical effect called the waterfall illusion. MRI experiments can provide clues as to the nature of motion aftereffect and even the mental phenomena called subjective awareness.
