Article Abstract:

This article discusses about establishing an automated people mover system at the Dallas/Fort Worth international Airport for facilitating speedier interterminal transportation of passengers. The proposed automated system will consists of an air-side elevaed guideway and twelve center-platform station, two at each terminal.

Ultrafiltration plant treats surface water in San Antionio

Article Abstract:

A description is provided of the ultrafiltration membrane water treatment plant in San Antonio, TX, one of the largest in the nation. The plant uses hydraulic pulses to reduce the amount of carbon needed in the filtration process, so that the turbidity of water from the Medina River will not clog the membranes.

The road to terminal D

Article Abstract:

An analysis on the construction of a roadway system for the new terminal at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, which includes ten bridges, three levels, and complex horizontal and vertical geometry, is presented. The project is an initiative taken up by the Airport Development Department.
