3-D TV without glasses

Article Abstract:

HinesLab Inc.'s new television system provides viewers with a realistic illusion of three-dimensional depth without the need to wear cumbersome eyewear. The system uses a color liquid-crystal screen and a set of mirrors to create three dimensional-images at normal viewing distance.

Honda Motor Company Ltd is making high-performance engines lighter and smaller with the use of a fiber-reinforced metal alloy known as metal-matrix composite. The composite, used as a cylinder liner, adds strength and improves wear resistance.
