There is a growing feeling in modern society in the UK against adults being naked when children are around, even in a family context. Indeed, some parents are now afraid to allow their children to see them naked, as they are worried about being accused of paedophilia or child abuse. This aversion to nakedness can be damaging to children, as it robs them of an important way of feeling at ease with their bodies. It is obviously important that children are protected from paedophiles, but it is also important to protect intimacy within families.
