Still hard up after all these years

Article Abstract:

Punk rocker Jimmy Pursey, lead singer of Sham 69, does not feel that he has betrayed the punk movement by taking part-time modelling work. He points out that this work is necessary to raise the money to produce Sham 69's records, as no record company is willing to enter into a deal with the group. He is still committed to punk, as he feels that it encourages people to be constructive. He regards environmental campaigners as punks, and is working with the travelling group of environmental campaigners known as the E-team.

From genesis to revelation

Article Abstract:

Cult band Throbbing Gristle liberated the use of the lyric forever, according to Genesis P-Orridge, the band's founder. He is now seeking new ways of conveying radical information to everybody without seeming to be brutal or cynical. His new group, Thee Majesty, continues his obsession with control, particularly the issue of sovereignty over the body.
