Say hello to the cat, live in the lap of luxury, and then get paid

Article Abstract:

It is very common in the UK for owners of large, expensive properties to employ house sitters when they go away. House sitters enjoy the benefits of living temporarily in luxury properties, but must also take on considerable responsibilities, especially for security. In some cases, people living in much more modest properties require house sitting services, particularly if they have pets to care for. Some house sitting companies specialize in providing security guards to patrol remote properties in prestigious areas.

Happiness is the 7.30 to town

Article Abstract:

Many people who work in London, England, find that it is preferable to commute to work from some distance away, rather than live in the city itself. They are willing to spend a considerable amount of time travelling if this means that they can live in a small, friendly community where there are good facilities. This is particularly the case for people who have young children. However, some people find that commuting a long distance is not conducive to a relaxing family life.

Home comforts for servants of the church

Article Abstract:

Housing for clergy can differ greatly in the UK. The various denominations tend to have fixed criteria for housing for clergy, but there can be significant variations within these criteria. Clergy avoid the problems associated with buying and selling property, but can find that they have a limited say in where they live. The Anglican Church has a large stock of property, and is making large sums of money available for renewal and improvement.
