Article Abstract:
It will be necessary to exert a considerable amount of pressure on unionist leader David Trimble and on Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams before the peace process in Northern Ireland can begin to make progress again. At present, the stances of these two men are totally incompatible. Both are personally concerned to make progress, but they are being prevented from doing so by hardliners in their parties. They also face individual problems, with Trimble having to address a sharply divided unionism and Adams unable to persuade the IRA to consider decommissioning.

She was 'executed' by the Irish Republican Army (IRA) leaving ten orphan children, since they had already lost their father the year before. One of Mrs McConville's daughters is seeking her body at Templeton Beach, near belfast, Northern Ireland, together with police and thers. The IRA has revealed the approximate whereabouts of the grave, but the body has yet to be found.
