NHS will get more cash says Dobson

The Health Secretary Frank Dobson, has announced that the NHS will receive a substantial cash boost in the upcoming Comprehensive Spending Review on July 14 1998. There was some bantering in the House Of Commons between the Conservative and Labour parties about the current state of the Health Service in the UK. The current government has already outdone the Conservatives by putting GB 2bn more into the NHS than they had said they would. The government has also declared that this level of investment is no where near high enough and there will be more money made available to the service by 2001.
