Article Abstract:
The UK beef industry is in crisis, according to butcher Ken Bell, who employs 350 people and sells 150,000 beef meals a week through 1,500 outlets. He now uses almost exclusively Namibian beef, which he feels has a better flavour than its British counterpart and also has the advantage of being free of BSE. He does not eat British beef himself, and feels that the government has not taken enough action to investigate the possible link between BSE in cattle and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in humans.

Carry on, Doctor Pilsworth
Article Abstract:
Dr Keith Pilsworth, a village doctor with 5,000 patients, was recently found guilty by the General Medical Council of serious professional misconduct following an affair. However, he has received widespread support from his patients, who believe that he has suffered enough and that having an affair does not affect his ability as a doctor. They report that he has always been extremely dedicated and that they still trust him.
