Resist the depression industry

Issues concerning the diagnosis and treatment of clinical depression are discussed. It is argued that allowing depression to resolve itself naturally is often the best approach.

The revelation that Scottish First Minister Henry McLeish failed to disclose income from subletting an office has negatively affected public confidence in devolved institutions. However, members of the Scottish Parliament recognize that to force him to resign would raise uncomfortable questions about home rule itself.
