They are introducing flexible working arrangements, designed to help those with responsibilities for children or elderly parents or who are involved in further education or competitive sports. They are also encouraging staff not to check voice or electronic mail during weekends and holidays. In the UK, accounting firms are less advanced with flexible working arrangements. However, employees have access to more state benefits, such as maternity pay.
