Scuba diving is a fascinating pursuit, as there are always new things to see. This is particularly the case when diving around Indonesia's coral reefs, where there are many different landscapes. The archipelago formed by the reefs runs for a very great distance, and contains around a sixth of the world's coral reefs. It is worth being aware that accommodation for visiting scuba divers is very basic and that safety standards are poor.
