It has been widely assumed in the UK for many years that the main threat to peace and order is posed by the extreme left. However, the recent bombings in Brixton and Brick Lane in London, England, indicate that the most serious threat may actually come from the extreme, fascist, right. It appears that the bombings may have been carried out by a small cell known as White Wolves, which is thought to have distributed advice about how to make a nail bomb. This group may be an offshoot of a dedicated white supremacist organization such as Combat 18.

Article Abstract:

There are considerable advantages associated with retaining a united English and Scottish identity in the form of Britishness, rather than making a sharp distinction between Scottishness and Englishness. Recent developments in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, have made it clear that serious problems can arise from placing excessive emphasis on the politics of nationalism and separation. Against this background, it is important to retain the Union of Scotland and England.

At last, the rest of the world matters to politicians

Article Abstract:

The terrorist attacks in the US have highlighted the extent to which it is now impossible to separate domestic and international politics in the UK. Showing international solidarity is now clearly in the UK's interests.
