Article Abstract:
Carl Andre's work 'Equivalent VI' consisting of two layers of 60 firebricks arranged in a rectangle was estimated at $300,000 to $350,000 (195,000 pounds sterling to 228,000 pounds sterling) by Sotheby's in 1993. Many British critics were not impressed by this work. Carl Andre, who was acquitted of murdering his wife by pushing her from a window, is the nephew of Raymond Baxter, UK television presenter. 'Equivalent VI,' owned by Charles Saatchi, did not sell at the New York Sotheby's auction.

Article Abstract:
The majority of people in the UK want ownership of handguns to be made illegal, yet the six Conservative members of the 11-man Home Affairs Select Committe have voted against a ban.
