Article Abstract:
Women and children are the main victims of the apparently unstoppable collapse into anarchy and decay which is taking place in Pakistan and Afghanistan, according to Asma Jahangir, head of Pakistan's Human Rights Commission and a highly respected human rights lawyer. It is vital that the international community takes action against this trend, which also represents a threat to Muslim women in other countries. Religious militants are doing great damage to the name and spirit of Islam, and are using religion aggressively in order to gain power.

Article Abstract:

They feel that such children, who are generally in a minority, give all children a poor reputation, and that they should therefore be handled very firmly. They stress the importance of teaching children at an early age that there are limits to freedom and there is a clear difference between right and wrong.
