48 hours in Mackintosh's Glasgow

Article Abstract:

The city of Glasgow, Scotland, spreads out a long way on each side of the Clyde. However, the city centre is quite compact, being enclosed on the south by the river and on the north and west by the M8 motorway. The best location for bed and breakfast accommodation is around Renfrew Street. Attractions include the Glasgow School of Art, the Willow Tea Rooms, created by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Rogano's, an Art Deco bar/restaurant, and House for an Art Lover, a mansion designed by Mackintosh.
