It can be hot and humid in Boston, MA, in summer, but the city has many side-walk cafes, parks and harbour cruises. Visitors may wish to walk the Freedom Trail, a route of historic sites. The city's attractions include the Museum of Fine Arts, Brattle Street, one of the most elegant thoroughfares in New England, and Faneuil Hall, where there are many interesting fast-food establishments. Boston Common, which covers 50 acres, is the oldest public park in the US.

Article Abstract:

Taking time out from performing to study different pieces of music is a good discipline for a pianist, according to Mitsuko Uchida. She has two two-month periods each year during which she accepts no engagements. She is keen to lead a balanced, orderly existence, and likes to take her time over simple things, such as preparing meals. She is currently preparing for her forthcoming Celebrity Recital at the Barbican Hall in London, England.
