Adamstown, PA, proudly touts itself to be the 'antiques capital' of the US. About an hour out of Philadelphia, the town is actually a farming hamlet where some 2,000 antique dealers have permanent displays. From April to October, another 2,000 dealers set up shop in a place called Shupp's Grove.
