Article Abstract:

Use of real estate as a backdrop in movies, books, radio and T.V shows with the most popular genre being romance and murder mysteries that involve varied locations and chance meetings is highlighted. The National Association of Realtors efforts to promote a positive image of this profession through its public awareness campaigns correcting wrong impressions of consumers received from movies and books about their salespersons is outlined.
